Our cruise ship will arrive earlier/later than your suggested departure time, does this mean we can’t come on your tour?
Our departure times fluctuate during the cruise ship season, this will be confirmed during the booking process. If you are concerned with the departure time we suggest you contact us.
We are worried we won’t get back to the cruise ship on time – can you explain your ‘worry free guarantee‘?
If for some reason (this has never happened in a decade of touring) we don’t get you back to port in time we will make sure you get to the next port.
What happens if our ship is running late in the morning?
We just wait for you until you arrive at the same meeting point.
What type of vehicle do you use and how many people are on the tour, what happens if there are only two of us?
We will run the tour even if there is only one person booked. Our fleet consists of two 19 seater Toyota Coasters, a 12 seat Ford Transit and a 12 seat Toyota Hi-Ace. All these vehicles are comfortable, have high roofs and air conditioning. We always leave one or two seats empty on our buses for comfort so your vehicle will depend on bookings.
Will you run the tour if its just me?
Yes.
We are not on a cruise ship, can we still come?
Yes!! Just fill in your accommodation details during the booking process, if you don’t know them give us a call on freephone 0800 BTN 000 when you get to the hotel.
Is there an opportunity to do a bit of shopping?
This really depends on time and the tour members. The best thing is to ask the guide on the day of the tour.
On your half day tours, is it possible to be dropped off in town after the morning tour or join the afternoon tour from the city centre so we can enjoy the city centre?
Yes. We often drop clients off in the city centre after our morning tours, it just means you have to make your way back to the ship yourself. There are cruise ship shuttles leaving from the city centre every 15 minutes, the last one generally leaves at 4.30pm. If you have booked on an afternoon tour just let us know that you wish to be picked up in the city and we will confirm details with you.
